HISTORY;
A child was born in the slums of Razen, and abandoned only a few days after birth. Luckily, for the child, fortune was on his side, and he was not used as food by the beggars, and instead, was picked up by an armourer's wife, and raised as their child. He was named Caelestis, after their child who had died in infancy.

Caelestis, who had dubbed himself 'Lest,' as his full name was much too hard to spell and irritatingly long, grew up to be a cheerful, skilled child, but not the brightest crayon in the box. At a young age, he was interested in swords, daggers and the likes, and often played with them against his parent's wishes. Regardless, he became a talented swordsman, if somewhat naive and dullwitted. Still, he managed to befriend some street kids-- and a young girl named Aubrecia, who became his best friend.

At age eleven, his foster-parents were killed for being unable to pay their depts to a man that he had never seen. The house was burnt down, but he managed to escape unnoticed. With no place to call home, he became a street rat for many years, Aubrecia never leaving his side. When he was fourteen, he was picked up by a band of street performers, who used their talents not for fighting, but to attract crowds and get money.

This arrangement lasted until he was 15, when Lest decided to leave. Performing wasn't for him. Aubrecia followed, and they wandered the streets and backalleys of Razen for some time, where he discovered that his foster-parents were killed by hired assassins. He found he was unable to defeat them, so he joined them, and at 16, became an assassin of the Atsirian Network. During the next three years, he and Aubrecia would join together and form a duo widely recognised as 'Deathwish,' before eventually splitting up, and following different factions of the Network.

The opening of the channels brought them back together again, and they currently work for Councillor Gideon of Razen as bodyguards. It's been a while since he has last killed.

PERSONALITY;
Despite being a relentless killer, Caelestis is a carefree, cheerful and overall... very nice person. He's always liked bright colours and children's toys, and is quite possibly the most childish assassin there ever was. He likes to give off the illusion that he's not particularly clever, as he's found it's easier to make others trust him that way.

Caelestis likes to laugh, and likes to make others laugh as well. He wants the world to be an overall happier place, but knows that it could never happen, unless everyone stopped killing everyone. And yet at the same time, he also knows that it's very unlikely that he is going to stop killing, as it's gone so far as to become a habit of his. Assassinating often brings out his darker side. Focused, ambitious, cunning and clever. It's very likely that this is the person he's hiding under his mask of goofy cheerfulness. He rarely shows this side of him.

Due to the fire that burnt down his only home as a child, Lest has developed a strong fear of smoke, ashes and flames in general, stiffening at just the thought of something burning.

He's a hopeless romantic, but is still somewhat charming nonetheless-- if he wants to be.

APPEARANCE;
Lest is of reasonable height-- for an Atsirian man, at least. His skin is tanned, and his eyes are grey. He's got a rather feminine face, framed with light brown hair that's usually in a long braid, tied with a bright red ribbon.
